The Korean celebrity couple have welcomed their first baby.
On Monday, February 5, Korean news publications reported that actors and real-life married couple Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In have welcomed their first daughter.
The news was then later confirmed by Seung Gi’s agency Human Made, which said in its statement that “both Da In and the baby are in good health, and Lee Seung Gi expresses his gratefulness that a new life was born safely.”
Seung Gi and Da In began dating in May 2021, and tied the knot in a private ceremony on April 7, 2023.
In November, just as Da In wrapped up her filming for the series ‘My Dearest,’ her pregnancy was announced to the public.
Lee Seung Gi first debuted as a singer, before eventually shifting gears to acting. As an actor, he has made starred in many dramas, including ‘My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho,’ ‘Shining Inheritance,’ ‘Hwayugi,’ and ‘Vagabond’.
He also recently made a cameo appearance in the upcoming Filipino movie ‘Ma’am Chief: Shakedown in Seoul,’ which hit Philippine theaters in November.
Lee Da In, meanwhile, began her stint in the showbiz industry in 2014. She has starred in series like ‘Hwarang,’ ‘My Golden Life,’ ‘Come and Hug Me,’ and currently appears as Kyung Eun-ae in the ongoing drama ‘My Dearest’.
She is also the daughter of actress Kyeon Mi Ri, who is known for her portrayal of Lady Choi in the 2003 series ‘Jewel In The Palace’.
