“One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, you make me feel like eleven.”
All-female Korean pop group IVE — composed of six members, namely Gaeul, Ahn Yujin, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo — landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Friday, July 12.
This is one day before their scheduled first concert in the Philippines on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City from 7:00 pm onwards.
The event, which is part of their ongoing ‘Show What I Have’ first world tour, marks the group’s first concert in the country since debuting in 2021.
Although, this would mark Wonyoung’s return to the Philippines after previously hosting the Asia Artist Awards 2023 ceremony at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan last December 2023.
IVE achieved success in the Korean pop scene off the bat, thanks to their smash hit debut single ‘Eleven,’ which was followed by other popular songs like ‘Love Dive,’ ‘After Like,’ ‘Kitsch,’ and ‘I Am.’
In April 2024, they dropped their latest extended play titled ‘Ive Switch,’ which features the song ‘Heya’ and ‘Accendio.’
