The certified ‘LOL’ moment has since made rounds across different platforms.
On Wednesday, June 10, the cast of the ABS-CBN Studios and GMA Network collaboration series The Secrets Of Hotel 88 made a guest appearance on the noontime program It’s Showtime. Specifically, the stars played in the Laro Laro Pick segment.
In the It’s Giving round of the said game portion, Kapuso actor-model Vince Maristela was asked about a person whose name starts with the letter C and is the host of the drama anthology series Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).
Within the five second time frame he was given, the 26-year-old answered: Cory Vidanes, who is ABS-CBN’s chief operating officer.
His response immediately drew laughters and cheers inside the studio, with host Vice Ganda reacting with: “Napaka-mo!”
“Miss Annette, o! Si Vince, playtime!” the comedian jokingly called the attention of GMA boss Annette Gozon-Valdes.
Vice also quipped that the host could be Coco Martin, before Vince was finally able to realize, with the help of another host, Jhong Hilario, that the correct answer is Charo Santos-Concio.
Before bowing out after getting the answer wrong, Vince greeted Charo on camera and said: “Hello po, Ma’am Charo! Nanonood po ako ng MMK.”
After his appearance, Vince took to Instagram to share a post where he jokingly wrote in the caption: “‘Yung bigla kang nagka-amnesia.”
In the last slide of the said carousel post, he even included a clip of him meeting Charo inside the Pinoy Big Brother house when she appeared together with Dingdong Dantes during Celebrity Collab Edition 1, where Vince was a housemate, in 2025.
He even tagged the MMK host and told her, “Love you, Ma’am Charo!”
Meanwhile, on her own Instagram page, Charo uploaded a clip of the said segment and said “This is so funny!”
She also wrote in jest on the video itself: “Hi Vince, Please go to my office.”
Even Gozon-Valdes is already in on the joke and even replied in a comment on IG that he will accompany Vince in his “meeting” with CSC.
