Niall’s back in Manila!
Irish singer-songwriter Niall Horan will be staging his “The Show” tour in Manila today, May 13, 2024.
The said event will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
This concert marks Niall’s return to the Philippines after six years. His last visit was back in June 2018, when he brought his ‘FLICKER’ solo concert, which was also held at the MOA Arena.
The Manila concert is part Niall’s tour in Asia, which had taken place in Singapore on Thursday, May 9, 2024 and Jakarta, Indonesia last Saturday, May 11, 2024. He is set to stage it next in Tokyo, Japan on May 15, 2024.
Niall gained stardom when he became one of the five members of boy band One Direction, which was formed in 2010 via the reality singing competition ‘The X Factor UK’.
The group went on to release massive global hits like ‘One Thing,’ ‘What Makes You Beautiful,’ ‘Best Song Ever,’ ‘Kiss You,’ ‘Steal My Girl,’ and ‘Night Changes,’ among others.
After the group went on indefinite hiatus in 2015, Niall carved a solo music career. In 2016, he made his solo debut and released singles like ‘This Town,’ and ‘Slow Hands,’ which both became part of his ‘FLICKER’ album.
In 2020, he released his sophomore solo album titled ‘Heartbreak Weather’.
His most recent album is ‘The Show,’ from which the name of the concert tour was derived from.
