Veteran screen actress Charo Santos, who is currently seen on Kapamilya primetime drama series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ as Tindeng, is set to make her big screen comeback this year.
She is set to star in a new movie with Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, who comes fresh from the resounding success of Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry and the top-grossing Filipino film of all-time ‘Rewind.’
Titled ‘Love After Love,’ the cameras had already begun rolling when its filming commenced last April 20.
It is set to be directed by Irene Villamor, who is also behind the 2023 blockbuster ‘Five Break-ups And A Romance’ starring Julia Montes and Alden Richards.
Santos shared that the material was originally pitched to her prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the latest update regarding it being a photo of her, Dantes, and Villamor in 2022.
Currently, there is still no playdate yet for the said movie.
