Lee Min Ho now in Manila for an event this evening

The Korean actor is back in Manila.

Korean superstar Lee Min Ho has arrived in the country earlier this morning. The actor is set grace the anniversary celebration of SMDC, a Filipino real estate development company that he endorses. He will also be meeting some of his lucky fans.

Announced last September, Lee Min Ho’s upcoming Manila fan meeting today, October 15, will be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The show will begin at 6:00 pm.

Although publicized, the said engagement will be a private event. About 30 Filipino “14th Minoz” residing in the Philippines were given invitation to attend LMH’s event. Tickets were also not sold to the general public.

The said celebration also marks LMH’s return to the country after several years. His last public engagement in the country was back in 2016 for his solo fan meeting event that year.

Lee Min Ho gained massive popularity in the Philippines back in 2009, when the Korean adaptation of ‘Boys Over Flowers’ hit local airwaves. Lee played the male lead Go Jun Pyo in the series.

After which, his succeeding dramas like ‘City Hunter,’ ‘Faith,’ ‘The Inheritors,’ and ‘Legends of the Blue Sea,’ among others, helped his popularity propel and endure in the country.

Lee Min Ho has also cemented his status as a Korean superstar, and is currently one of the most-followed Korean actors on Instagram.
