Korean idol-actor Ok Taecyeon is in the Philippines for his ‘SpecialTY’ fanmeeting tour. Taecyeon, who is a member of the Korean male pop group 2PM, will hold the Manila event on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
Taecyeon, along with the rest of the members of 2PM, debuted in 2008. Since then, he has also branched out of music through his acting career. Taecyeon breakthrough role was his portrayal of Jin Gook in the 2011 drama series ‘Dream High’.
He has also starred in several other productions, such as ‘Cinderella’s Stepsister,’ ‘Let’s Fight Ghost,’ ‘Save Me’.
In 2020, he also acted his first ever antagonist role in ‘Vincenzo’. Meanwhile, he just concluded his latest drama ‘Heartbeat’ a month ago.
Besides acting, Taecyeon also gained the title “Captain Korea” from fans due to his well-built physique akin to the fictional superhero character Captain America. Moreover, he even added the term “borta” to his vocabulary during his pre-event press conference on Friday.
Aside from Taecyeon, Filipino Hottest will also be able to catch another 2PM member this year. Junho is set to visit the country on November 11, 2023, for his solo fanmeeting event.
