No, this is not an April Fools’ joke.
On Saturday, April 1, Dispatch reported that actors Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon, who both starred in Netflix’s ‘The Glory’ are dating.
According to the news site, the two were seen in multiple occasions dating in secret. Moreover, both Lee and Lim have also been in a relationship for over four months and said that this was known fact to the staff and crew of the series.
In the said Dispatch article, they have detailed the encounters where they have seen the couple together. Twice in December 2022, another in January, and the latest just last March. The news publication also shared that the two may have developed feelings for one another while filming the drama, and later blossomed into a relationship not long after.
With that, the respective agencies of both actors responded and confirmed that Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon are indeed dating.
Yuehua Entertainment, the management company of Lee Do Hyun said:
“Lim Ji Yeon and Lee Do Hyun have gone from being close colleagues to the stage of cautiously getting to know one another better with positive feelings.”
Meanwhile, Lim Ji Yeon’s Artist Company also responded:
“After spending some time as close colleagues, the two of them developed an interest in one another, and they are cautiously getting to know another.”
In the series Lee portrayed Joo Yeojong, the male lead that would develop feelings for Song Hye Kyo’s Moon Dong Eun. On the other side, Lim Ji Yeon was casted as Park Yeon Jin, who is the arch-nemesis of Dong Eun.
