A new voice is now being heard by Kapuso viewers.

Through an Instagram post, ‘Unang Hirit’ anchor Arnold Clavio confirmed that a new man has indeed been hired by GMA Network to serve as its official voiceover.

Clavio revealed the identity of the personality, who is none other than his fellow DZBB anchor Weng dela Peña.

In his post, ‘Igan’ wrote, “[ehem], Congratulations Weng, ang bagong boses ng GMA Network simula sa 2025.”

He also gave his salute to now-retired Kapuso VO, Al Torres, who had served the station for the past 31 years.

“Maraming salamat Al,” followed by a red heart emoji, Arnold added.

It was last December when viewers were able to notice a transition period in the sonic department of GMA’s interstitials, with Weng being tapped to voice the network’s 75th anniversary branding.
