“The world is chilling,” Vice Ganda said on ‘It’s Showtime’ today.
In rare moment on noontime television, the ‘Dabarkads’ of ‘Eat Bulaga’ made a friendly gesture on-air for Vice Ganda, the host of their rival program ‘It’s Showtime’. Vice, who is celebrating their 47th birthday today, was greeted by EB hosts Joey de Leon, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Ryan Agincillo, and Maja Salvador during their live episode on Friday afternoon.
De Leon first greeted his mother, who is also celebrating her birthday today, before making the segué. “Birthday ata ngayon ni Vice Ganda,” the TV host asked his fellow hosts. Salvador, who is also a close friend of Vice, confirmed the news. At that point, the ‘Dabarkads’ made the joint birthday greeting for Vice.
Manalo also made a reference to Vice’s ‘Yormeme’ skit by asking whether Vice will run for Mayor.
The ‘It’s Showtime’ host took notice of what happened and said the following during their own live show. “I’m so happy. Binati nila ako ng happy birthday sa ‘Eat Bulaga!’ Kay Tito Joey, Sir Joey de Leon, maraming maraming salamat po.”
They added, “mabuhay kayo Eat Bulaga, more years to come! I love you.”
The ‘Unkabogable’ star also shared their amazement over the on-air greeting, “‘di ba, yung mabanggit ng mga Dabarkads yung pangalan mo sa Eat Bulaga? Hey?!”
