Recently, global research firm NelsonHall bestowed to distinction to AscentHR, which provides HR technology, payroll and managed compliance solutions.
Recognized for its multi-country payroll capabilities, AscentHR was hailed a Leader in its Payroll Services 2026 – Overall and Innovator for Multi-Country Payroll Capability.
This evaluation was conducted through NelsonHall’s Vendor Evaluation & Assessment Tool (NEAT) that analyzed global payroll providers on their market presence, immediate client value, and technological innovation.

Last July, thd HR technology and workforce solutions provider disclosed its strategic acquisition of OS-HRS, an APAC-focused payroll outsourcing provider that has over two decades of multi-country payroll delivery experience.
According to the company, the deal was completed through a single-stage transaction where AscentHR is acquiring 100% of the equity share capital of OS-HRS Malaysia, OS-HRS Japan, and OS-HRS India from BREXA Inc. (formerly Outsourcing Inc.), based in Tokyo, Japan.
The move expanded its footprint across key markets including Japan, China, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, and India and enable the introduction of two major regional delivery capabilities through its presence in Malaysia and Japan.
