As ESPN on Disney+ officially launches in the Philippines, it gathered fans and different personalities on Thursday, October 22, for an exclusive watch party featuring one of the most awaited clashes of the year: the Golden State Warriors taking on the Los Angeles Lakers.
The said activity, held in Quezon City, also officially served as ESPN on Disney+ launchpad in the country, which is a hub alongside Disney+ general entertainment and family programming — available through the respective Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Hulu hubs.
With its new brand campaign, Ito ang Homecourt Mo!, ESPN on Disney+ allows viewers to access live events, on-demand replays, studio shows, documentaries and original programming together in one dedicated destination.
Beyond live games, fans can enjoy ESPN NBA studio shows and NBA-produced programming, including NBA Tip-Off, Inside the NBA, NBA Countdown, NBA Today, and NBA Action.
Aside from the NBA, other notable sports programming include the Formula E 2026/27 season, U.S. NCAA events, including March Madness; Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL); ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentaries, and Pardon The Interruption.
