It will provide different dynamics for the Kapuso Primetime Royal Couple.
In an interview with GMA News, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera set the record straight and declared that she is willing to join the top-rating action drama series The Master Cutter, which is headlined by her husband, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
However, she revealed that she is only going to do it under one condition: she will be going against Dingdong’s character Atoy, who fights crimes and solves different mysteries as a deep-penetration agent.
“Payag akong mag-guest sa ‘[The] Master Cutter’ sa isang kondisyon, kontrabida niya ako. Ayaw kong magkakampi kami,” Marian shared.
According to her, she wants to have it that way “for a change!”
“Kasi palagi na kami nakikita ng tao [na] together, sweet, as husband and wife,” she furthered.
Asked about whether she is willing to fight against Dingdong, Marian said that she has no problem facing him.
“A fight scene? Lalaban ako. Humanda ka, Atoy!” she quipped.
Meanwhile, Marian and Dingdong are set to return to the big screen this November 11 with their movie entitled Remember.
This movie marks their reunion with director Mae Cruz-Alviar, whom they have worked with in the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Rewind, which is a certified blockbuster having grossed over PHP900 million in the box-office.
They were also previously confirmed to be joining forces in Behind Closed Doors, where Dingdong will make a special guest role as the President of the Philippines, while Marian takes on the role of his mistress, who is also a journalist.
