A wider reach for the Kapatid show.
On Thursday, October 22, TV5 officially announced that its weekly musical-variety show Vibe+ is expanding its platforms as it begins airing on ABS-CBN platforms such as ALLTV2, A2Z, and Kapamilya Channel this weekend.
Effective Sunday, October 25, the playback (replay) broadcast, which airs at 12:00 noon, will be carried by the above-mentioned channels, Kapamilya Online Live and iWant on digital—which are all on top of their availability on TV5 and the Kapatid Livestream.
In addition, it was also noted that the live broadcast every Saturday night at 6:00 pm will remain exclusive to the Kapatid network.
The move is part of the expanding partnership between both media giants, which was recently made even bigger by their co-production agreement for the country’s longest-running musical-variety program ASAP XP, which airs every Sunday evening.
As part of that deal, TV5 stars Dylan Menor and Carmela Lorzano, who are both hosts of Vibe+, alongside Selina Griffin, Nico Matugas, Gianna Huelgas, Kaitlyn King, Keisha Serna, Celyn David, Chan Martin, Patrick Ballesteros, and Spencer Capistrano became part of the Kapamilya-Kapatid variety show.
Launched in 2025, Vibe originally had two weekday editions and separate programs for Saturday and Sunday, with the latter being the main program.
However, in recent months, it has seen major changes, with the show now down to just a weekly Vibe Nights slot every Wednesday evening at 10:45 pm and the flagship Vibe+ show every weekend.
Vibe+ airs every Saturday from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on TV5 and Kapatid Livestream. Meanwhile, Vibe+ Playback will be every Sunday from 12:00 noon to 1:45 pm on TV5, Kapatid Livestream, ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and iWant.
