In their respective announcements, P-pop stalwarts SB19 and BINI announced that they have submitted entries for consideration at the upcoming Grammy Awards in 2027.

The Nation’s Girl Group first disclosed their submissions last October 2, confirming that they are running for three categories.

These are Best New Artist, Best Asian Pop Music Performance for Unang Kilig, and Best Song Written for Visual Media for A Parallel World—which is part of the original soundtrack of the animated film Forgotten Island.

“Let’s keep supporting BINI, and Filipino music and talent as we take our step to the global stage,” the management encouraged the fans and public to supprot their campaign.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, October 13, SB19 also announced their own submissions for the same prestigious award-giving body.

The P-pop Kings have submitted entries for consideration in two categories: Best Asian Pop Music Performance for Visa and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Lawless.

“From the Philippines to the world, thank you for believing in SB19. Let’s continue to champion Filipino music and bring it to the global stage!” the team wrote in the caption of their post.

In recent years, both groups have consistently been making history and breaking records for the Philippine music industry.

Last April, BINI became the first homegrown group to perform at the Coachella Music Festival in California. That was later followed by SB19’s equally groundbreaking performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago in July, where they also became the first local artists to do so.

SB19 and BINI are also performed at the Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan in August 2026.

The two P-pop juggernauts were also announced as Philippine Tourism Ambassadors by the Department of Tourism (DOT). Together, they are set to appear in promotional materials that aim to entice tourists to visit the Philippines under the Love The Philippines banner.
