American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has dropped a special news for Swifties all over the world.
Through a post on her Instagram account on Thursday, September 24, she unveiled the official album cover of her latest deluxe album, The Life of A Showgirl: The Encore.
In the caption, she said to her fans: “About a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing. Something that completely blew my mind… You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history.”
Swift then noted how the album was formed, noting that it happened after she went on a trip to Sweden to celebrate with Max and Shellback, who were her two collaborators on this album.
“Really, we just wanted to reflect and take in how grateful we were for the moment we were in, but there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all: We wrote more songs,” she told.
The 36-year-old then expressed her excitement and said, “I hope you love them, because they were born out of pure gratitude for your exuberance for and celebration of the album we made.”
Prior to this, she announced the release of the single Patient Zero, which is one of the tracks alongside Cleveland, Pink Clouding, and Babylon, on Friday, September 25.
A music video for the lead track of this release is also set to drop during the Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 27 (Monday, September 28 in Manila).
It was on October 3, 2025 when yje singer-songwriter unveiled her twelfth album, which carried the songs The Fate of Ophelia, Elizabeth Taylor, Opalite, Father Figure, Eldest Daughter, Ruin The Friendship, Actually Romantic, Wi$h Li$t, Wood, Cancelled, Honey, and the album’s titular track featuring Sabrina Carpenter.
