With special screenings in London and Madrid.
The upcoming movie Always Yours, Never Mine, which is topbilled by Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto and directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, will also be screened in various theaters worldwide.
According to ABS-CBN, the parent of the film production company Star Cinema, it will be shown in theaters in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Australia, and New Zealand starting October 22.
In the United States, Canada, and Guam, it will be on screens starting October 23.
Meanwhile, for audiences in the United Kingdom and Austria, it will be available starting October 31, while screenings will begin on November 1 in Spain, France, and Italy.
Joshua and Julia are also confirmed to be leading the European special screenings and meet-and-greet sessions.
The tandem will be in the UK at the Genesis Cinema London on October 31 at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Meanwhile, there will ne another set of special screenings with the lead stars in Madrid, Spain at the Palacio de la Prensa Cinema on November 1 at 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm
According to the official synopsis provided, “Always Yours, Never Mine is a romantic drama spanning three decades, following Apollo (Joshua) and Luna (Julia) whose lives intersect at different points in time. Each reunion presents a choice, with every decision shaping the paths they take and the lives they leave behind.”
Joshua described the film as a breather for viewers and said: “Feeling ko kailangan natin ito, yung mga ganitong entertainment. Kailangan nating huminga, I think ito yung hinga natin. I hope maraming maka-relate at makasabay sa characters nina Apollo at Luna.”
For Julia, meanwhile, the title conveys “your willingness to give your heart to somebody else who can’t give theirs back to you.”
Confirmed to be starring alongside them in this film are veteran actress Chanda Romero, Ina Raymundo, Karen Reyes, Bob Jbeili, Migs Almendras, Paulo Angeles, Franco Laurel, Reign Parani, Paolo Gumabao, Jan Silverio, and Joy Barcoma—who will be making her acting debut through this project.
The film will also star Kapuso Prime Gem Bianca Umali, who is making her first-ever movie project with Star Cinema.
The project is helmed by director Cathy Garcia-Sampana, with its story created by renowened filmmaker Olivia Lamasan, together with Trishtan Perez and Vanessa Valdez.
This will serve as the JoshLia’s tandem’s comeback more than two years after the mega-blockbuster flick Un/Happy For You in 2024.
