With their agency citing the local safety situation and conditions as the official reasons behind their decision.
In a statement issued on Monday, September 21, Korean music agency F&F Entertainment announced the decision of their team to pull out the boy band AHOF from the lineup of performers at the VK Fandom Fest in Moscow, Russia, which is scheduled to happen on October 10.
Originally, the nine-member team composed of Steven, Jeongwoo, Woongki, Shuaibo, Han, Juwon, Chih En, Daisuke, and Filipino idol JL, was to headline at the said event.
However, multiple fan bases around the world launched their respective campaigns to demand the withdrawal of AHOF from the said show, citing varying reasons.
In its statement, F&F said that after a comprehensive review of the local safety situation and the conditions regarding the artists’ and staff’s travel and stay, “we have made the unavoidable decision not to participate.”
“We are fully aware of the concerns raised by many fans regarding this schedule and have taken them very seriously,” the company added.
Thus, they proceeded with discussions after carefully reviewing the situation, which placed the safety of their artists and staff as their top priorities.
“We ask for your understanding regarding the delay in releasing an official statement, as we needed to finalize consultations concerning the contract and related matters regarding the cancellation,” F&F continued.
They also asked Russian fans’ understanding, who were looking forward to AHOF’s performance. And to the event organizers, they also conveyed their regret about the decision.
“We will strive to meet you again through safer and better opportunities in the future. Thank you,” they concluded the statement.
AHOF was created through the survival-reality program Universe League, which aired from November 2024 until January 2025. They are the first boy band under F&F Entertainment.
The group unveiled their debut mini-album Who We Are in July 2025, which was was followed by The Passage in November 2025.
Last July 8, the unveiled their third extended play, Run To You, which carries the lead single of the same title.
That same month, they also held their successful two-nigh concert at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, which is part of their The First Spark Tour.
