Early Tuesday morning (September 22), actress-TV host Anne Curtis took her time to reply to comment in one of her recent posts on X (formerly Twitter).
The said user, whose name will be redacted, replied with a screenshot of Anne’s look at a recent fashion event.
There, the netizen laid their claim of her having pursued plastic surgery and wrote: “Retokada yarn?”
They then went on to drag her daughter, Dahlia, and insinuated that they do not look alike.
In response, the It’s Showtime host and star of the upcoming series BuyBust said that she is able to quickly denounce the said claim. “Can proudly say I’m not retokada at all,” she wrote.
Anne also responded to the part of the comment comparing her looks to her six-year-old child. “[A]nd for me, for me lang naman, my daughter and I are both beautiful,” she furthered.
The TV and film personality then noted that she does not usually give people like the commenter the time of the day, but chose to do so because “wala lang.”
“I don’t know who hurt you or why you’re so angry with me but nonetheless sending you some kindness maybe you [need] some in your life. Big virtual hug. I mean that, sincerely. Good night!” Anne concluded her statement.

Although, Anne was defended by her fans and supporters against the anonymous user.
One user replied, “Millennials know how pretty [Anne Curtis] is kahit nung bata pa siya. Child actress siya at may mga movies siya nung bata pa siya.”
“Choose to be kind. Anne is a beautiful person and also please spare the kid from negative mindset,” another wrote.
