The show continues to bring inspiration and drama to viewers in the afternoon.
Effective September 5, the TV5 drama series My Bespren Emman, which is top-billed by JM De Guzman and Shaina Magdayao, will no longer air every Saturday afternoon.
As per recent plugs for the Kapatid program that air on television, it will now only air from Monday to Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm—reverting to its previous weekday-only broadcast setup.
This shift happens more than a month after My Bespren Emman started airing on ABS-CBN platforms such as ALLTV2, Kapamilya Channel, and A2Z on free TV in late July.
From that week onwards, the drama has aired six times a week, with the Saturday episode added to provide direct competition with GMA’s Born To Shine, which airs on the same time slot.
However, the Kapuso program continues to take the lead in terms of TV ratings game and online viewership, with My Bespren Emman recording modest viewership on both mediums.
Following the removal of My Bespren Emman’s Saturday episodes, ABS-CBN platforms will air a broadcast-friendly cut of the iWant original series Miss Behave starting September 5 at 2:30 pm.
Meanwhile, TV5 is expected to bring forward the Saturday edition afternoon newscast Frontline Express, which previously occupied the 3:10 pm time slot. Although, no official schedule has been published as of this writing.
My Bespren Emman was originally launched in April 2026 as the other half of the pair of new original primetime dramas of TV5 under the TodoMax Primetime banner, with the other being A Secret In Prague.
Also starring Ai-Ai Delas Alas, Sid Lucero, Michael de Mesa, and more, the program continued airing every weeknight until July 24.
It moved to the afternoon block effective last July 27 as it gave way to the integrated primetime drama lineup of ABS-CBN and TV5 under the revitalized partnership between the two media giants.
My Bespren Emman, as of this week, airs Monday to Friday at 2:30 pm after Eat Bulaga on TV5 and It’s Showtime on ABS-CBN platforms.
