That is how the music label OddAtelier teased the solo music comeback of Blackpink member Jennie Kim with her digital extended play entitled Fallen Angel.
Released on Friday, August 28, the mini-album contains three tracks, led by the namesake title track, the pre-release single Less Than A Lover, and Heaven.
Alongside its release, the official music video of the lead single was published on streaming platform YouTube on the same day, where it has now gotten over 3 million views, as of this writing.
The said album was also said to be “a gift from Jennie, with love” and marks her latest project after a slate releases earlier in the year, such as the remix of the viral single Dracula by Tame Impala.
Prior to this, Jennie also launched the pre-release single Less Than A Lover during her performances at the Governors Ball in New York City and Mad Cool Festival in Spain.
Jennie debuted in 2016 as part of the third-generation K-pop group Blackpink, along with fellow members Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa.
Last year, the band released the single Jump and embarked on a world tour entitled Deadline to mark their 10th anniversary this year. They also released the tour’s namesake mini-album last February.
In March 2025, she issued her first album called Ruby, which featured the K-pop star’s collaborations with international artists like Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, Doechii, Dominic Fike, FKJ, and Kali Uchis.
Among the tracks in the said album are Like Jennie, Mantra, and Handlebars.
