She is making her comeback to the horror genre soon.
In a social media post, actress-TV host Anne Curtis posed alongside director Mikhail Red as they met for her upcoming film project entitled Remote.
The said film, according to a report on Variety, is a “paranoia thriller set in contemporary Manila,” with Anne set to portray the character of Violet Olvido, who is a “journalist who begins investigating a string of killings linked to a shadowy international outsourcing company that recruits remote workers across the Philippines.”
However, as she goes deeper undercover within the organization, “her grip on reality begins to erode.”
In the same photo carousel, Curtis and Red also met with Viva Entertainment bosses, led by chairman Vic del Rosario.
Other details have yet to be revealed about this project, which iw reportedly set to begin its filming in late 2026.
This film was revealed during the celebration of Anne’s 29th anniversary in the industry.
Alongside Remote, others revealed were her reunion with director Ruel Bayani, who is behind the 2011 blockbuster film No Other Woman.
She is also doing a follow-up movie with The Loved One director Irene Villamor. This film, which marked her comeback movie project with Jericho Rosales, is a certified blockbuster after grossing PHP300 million worldwide.
Aside from doing It’s Showtime and her several endorsements, Anne is also set to reprise her character Nina Manigan in tge nine-episode BuyBust: The Undesirables, which is slated to stream exclusively on Netflix.
