The National Finals will determine the country’s first-ever representative to the regional competition.
On Monday, August 17, more details regarding the inaugural Eurovision Asia Philippine Selection Night were announced as the full tracks of the 10 participating entries in were released on various streaming platforms.
This year, the entries are as follows:
- Between Bituin (Between Stars) – performed by DNA, composed by Jungee Marcelo, and produced by Marcelo and Thyro Alfaro.
- Broken Beyond Stars – performed by Saga, composed by Angelo Gonzales, and produced by Arnold Buena and Dan Cage.
- Cheri(e) – performed by Elha Nympha, Esang de Torres, Lance Reblando, and Nar Cabico; composed by Nar Cabico; and produced by Kiko Salazar.
- Di Yan (Red Flag) – performed by Jason Dy and Sassa Dagdag; composed by Jason Marvin; and produced by Fern.
- Good For You – performed by Ryssi Avila; composed by Hazel Faith; and produced by Brian Cua.
- Make It Exist – performed by AJAA, composed by Angelo Calucin, and produced by Gabriel Tagadtad.
- Mapadama (Make You Feel) – performed by JM Dela Cerna and Mariella Montellano; composed by Jungee Marcelo and Jeremy G; and produced by Kiko Salazar and Jeremy G.
- Reason To Live – performed by Khimo, composed by Stephen Tan, and produced by Raizo Chabeldin
- Round N’ Round – performed by VVINK and Wrive; composed by Julius James de Belen, James Michael Conchada; and produced by Bojam
- Sobra-Sobra (Too Much) – performed by Carmelle Collado, composed by Nica del Rosario and Mat Olavides, and produced by Olavides.
Ahead of its release at 6:00 pm (Philippine time), an exclusive listening party was held in the afternoon, with all the interpreters present.
During which, several announcements were made regarding the upcoming Philippine Selection Night such as its venue, which would be at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
The personality who will host one of the biggest music events this year was also revealed to be none other than Asia’s Unkabogable Superstar Vice Ganda.
To vote during the show, which will be available to view worldwide, ABS-CBN Music head Jonathan Manalo shared that a QR (quick response) code that will direct viewers to the Eurovision Asia website will flash on the screen during the finals night. It will only begin at the start of the show and end during a specific segment in the program.
The scoring breakdown will be as follows: 40% from judges and jury, 40% from local voting, and 20% from the rest of the world.
The Eurovision Asia Philippine Selection Night will happen on August 30 and will be seen on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Myx, Kapamilya Online Live, iWant, and TFC.
Co-produced with Voxovation together with S2O Productions and Thailand’s Channel 3, the Eurovision Asia Song Contest 2026 will be aired in different countries in the region, with the aim of reaching more than 600 million people, on November 14, with the regional finals taking place in Bangkok, Thailand.
Other confirmed participating broadcasters are PK, Inc. (South Korea), Media Prima’s TV3 (Malaysia), VTV3 (Vietnam), VTE9 (Laos), NTV (Bangladesh), BBS (Bhutan), and Himalaya TV (Nepal), with each country also holding their own national finals in the coming weeks.
