It is their last show for now as a team as they recently announced their upcoming indefinite hiatus.
On Saturday, August 15, the Korean band The Rose stages their Rosetopia concert in Manila.
This show, which marks their return to the country after their Dawn To Dusk concert in 2024, happens at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
But the night is extra special for their Filipino fans as the team composed of Woosung, Dojoon, Hajoon, and Taegyeom announced that the ongoing Asian tour, which Saturday’s event is a part of, will be their last show before going on hiatus.
Back in April, when they announced the release of the single Blue Moon and the album Rose, the band shared a lengthy message.
“There were nights we thought we wouldn’t make it. And nights we wished would never end But somehow, we always found our way back to each other, and to you,” they shared in a part of the message.
“The Rose has been our biggest cushion to fall into a place where our lives existed, fully and completely. And maybe that’s why this moment feels so heavy and so beautiful at the same time.”
According to them, with the upcoming album ROSE and the ROSETOPIA tour, they want to close this chapter with fans the way they deserve.
“After this, we will be taking a break. Not as an ending, Bmbut as a moment to breathe… To grow… And to find ourselves again, individually. So that one day, we can come back to you with even more to give,” they explained.
“This isn’t goodbye. It’s just.. once in a blue moon,” they added.
Other stops in this concert series are Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, and Singapore.
The Rose made their debut in 2017 and released songs like Sorry, Like We Used To, Baby, Red, and Beauty and the Beast.
