She is all-set to represent the country in the said pageant.
On Friday, August 7, Filipina beauty queen and the reigning national titleholder of Miss World Philippines, Asia Rose Simpson, headed to Vietnam.
The said country will be the host of the upcoming 75th anniversary edition of the Miss World pageant, with the weeks-long competition set to culminate with a grand final show on September 5, 2026 in Nha Trang.
In a post on her Instagram account, Simpson said, “Today, I depart for Vietnam-not just carrying the hopes of a nation, but a heart anchored in purpose.“
Wearing a white gown, the 18-year-old also said that she “embraces the purity of intention that has guided me every step of this journey.“
“Beyond the crown lies a mission: to serve, to inspire, and to show the world the true spirit of the Filipina... Vietnam, here I come,” she added.
Prior to being hailed as Miss World Philippines in January, Asia has been making her way to the top of the pageantry world.
She also previously competed in the Miss Teen USA 2023 and represented New Mexico in that edition.
In Miss World 2026, Simpson will aim for the country’s elusive second crown 13 years after actress Megan Young won as the first (and only, to date) winner from the Philippines.
