A’TIN, as well the rest of the nation, can witness the momentous occasion live in several locations.
This Friday, July 31 (Manila time), the P-pop Kings SB19 will take the stage at the Lollapalooza Festival at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, USA for the first time ever.
There, they are set to perform as the first-ever homegrown Filipino music act and join the powerhouse slate of the four-day festival that is headlined by Lorde, John Summit, Charli XCX, The Smashing Pumpkins, Olivia Dean, Jennie of Blackpink, Tate McRae, and The XX.
And for their fans, as well as the rest of the public, they will get to see them perform at one of the world’s biggest music festivals live through various watch parties organized around the Philippines.
The Department of Tourism (DOT), which recently appointed the band as the country’s Tourism Ambassadors, has announced that they are setting up a major one on Friday, July 31 in Luneta, Manila and is free for the general public.
It will start at 1:30 am with a pre-show and listening party for the attendees, with the main event starting at 4:00 am at the Rizal Open Air Auditorium.
In addition, the DOT will also organize simultaneous watch parties at the SMX Convention Center in Pampanga, the Bacolod Government Center in Bacolod City, and the Royal Mandaya Hotel in Davao.
There will also be an evening event on the same day at 7:00 pm at SM CDO Downtown Premier in Cagayan de Oro.
Meanwhile, Ayala Malls will also have their own set of parties with the Ayala Malls Abreeza Activity Center in Davao hosting one on July 31 at 6:00 pm, while on August 1 at 6:00 pm, the events at Ayala Malls The 30th in Pasig and Ayala Center Cebu will happen on August 1 (Saturday) at 6:00 pm.
According to the band’s official social media page, there are still more events slated to be announced as the date nears.
Aside from Lollapalooza, SB19 will also be the first Filipino group to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees game in the Major League Baseball.
The quintet, composed of Josh, Stell, Pablo, Felip, and Justin, will also be dropping their new single entitled Lawless on the same day.
SB19 is known for their hit singles such as Go Up, Alab, MAPA, GENTO, DAM, Dungka, and more. Earlier in 2026, the group released their album, Wakas At Simula, which is led by the single Visa that debuted at No. 6 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart.
They also held one of the biggest solo concerts in the Philippines of the year when they held their one-night-only Wakas At Simula trilogy finale tour last April in Parañaque City.
