On Monday, July 20, ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Star Magic announced that actress Lovi Poe is the newest member of its huge roster of artists.
Poe, who has been on a break from the showbiz scene for about a year now after getting pregnant with her first baby with husband Monty Blencowe, is now gearing up for a comeback.
According to the agency, she is set to be officially launched as an official Star Magic talent through a media conference scheduled on Tuesday, July 21.
The announcement also affirms her continued ties with ABS-CBN, which has been her home network since 2021.
Over the years, she has starred in projects such as the Philippine adaptation of Flower of Evil, the iWant series Sleep With Me with Janine Gutierrez, and the top-rated action series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
In the lattermost, she played the original female lead Mokang. Although, the character was killed off when she left the show in early 2024. Later that year, she starred in the movie Guilty Pleasure with Jameson Blake.
In 2025, she remained visible to the public after participating in the Bench Body of Work fashion show in March and the ABS-CBN Ball in April.
Although, she later revealed in September of the same year that she was already expecting her first child, whom she later gave birth to in October.
Last May, she was announced as part of the movie Ignition with Game Of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, as well as BAFTA nominee Rory Kinnear.
