With the media service remaining true to its core mission of delivering the “stories you like to follow.”
After hitting The Sixth Mile last May, Trendrod has moved forward with its major brand restructuring.
On Sunday, July 12, Trendrod fully activated a revamped layout of its website, trendrod.com — the primary digital home of its content spanning categories such as entertainment, lifestyle, news, business, technology, sports, and opinion.
Through the overhaul, the media service has put the emphasis on its eight core verticals and two weekly editions, which are both reflective of its commitment to serving its audiences with the stories tailored to both their needs and wants.
Its eight core verticals — Trendrod Box, Trendrod Hit, Trendrod Life, Trendrod Plus, Trendrod News, Trendrod Info, Trendrod Select, and Trendrod Sports — have been given a more prominent spot within the website and the general brand ecosystem, firmly placing them as channels that serve the multi-sectoral audience that it has cultivated over the years.
Each of these has been given their own, distinct hubs within the website that showcases their latest and most-popular content, while also maintaining their separate pages on Facebook and channels on YouTube.
These verticals will continue to serve their respective target audiences. Trendrod Box continues to provide coverage of mass entertainment and media, and movies; Trendrod Hit in music and live entertainment; Trendrod Life in celebrity news and general lifestyle; and Trendrod Plus for premium entertainment.
Trendrod News also remains to be the home for general news content and news media; Trendrod Info for science, history, and the academe; Trendrod Select for business, technology, and lifestyle; and Trendrod Sports for general sports, leisure and competitive gaming, and sports media.
Complementing these verticals are the weekly editions Trendrod Quests and Trendrod Sunday, which were both successfully launched in March 2026.
Under this reorganization, latest content for both editions are now accessible via the newly-introduced dedicated Editions page on the website.
These moves are part of a wider brand repositioning of Trendrod as part of its aspiration of becoming a reliable and accurate independent news source across several content categories.
Janus Baranda, the Publisher of Trendrod, shared in a statement: “While the verticals, which we also refer to as channels or pages, have been with us since the start, they have largely remained isolated identities on social media where we funnel our content to appeal to different demographics.”
“Hence, this process of reorganization presented a perfect opportunity for Trendrod to not only reinforce these verticals as part of a singular media entity, but also elevate them as key components of our business by making their presence much more pronounced across the board—especially on our primary home that is our website,” he added.
Meanwhile, four months after they were launched, Baranda also said that Quests and Sunday are “successful editorial products” for the media service.
“We are happy to continue fulfilling our goal of delivering additional value to our readers that let Trendrod become part of their weekends,” the Publisher furthered.
Trendrod is accessible through its main website at trendrod.com, Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube. You may also follow our dedicated page on LinkedIn.
