The long-time couple had ended their relationship.
On Tuesday, June 9, reports were made about the relationship of Korean stars Choi Sooyoung, a member of the legendary all-female K-pop group Girls’ Generation, and actor Jung Kyung Ho, who is best known for playing the Kim Jun Wan in the series Hospital Playlist.
According to these reports, the couple, which had been together for 14 years, have decided to part ways after supposedly drifting apart due to their busy schedules.
In response, their respective agencies have also issued statements to confirm the said news, with SARAM Entertainment speaking on behalf of Choi Sooyoung.
“It is true that they have broken up. They have decided to remain good colleagues,” the company told, as reported by Korean entertainment website Soompi.
Meanwhile, Management Allum addressed the matter for the part of Junt Kyung Ho. “It is true that they have broken up. As it is a private matter, it is difficult to provide further details.”
It was back in 2014 when news first broke about Choi and Jung’s relationship, which at that time had already been running for over a year since 2012.
