She still has plenty of competitions coming up despite her early exit from Stuttgart recently.
Filipina tennis star Alex Eala is set to make her participation in multiple tournaments in Europe in the coming weeks.
The 20-year-old, who is currently ranked 45th globally in the Women’s Tennis Association’s singles index, will be moving forward following her early exit from the Stuttgart Open in Germany this week, after falling to Canadian Leylah Fernandez.
Up next for her is the Mutua Madrid Open, a WTA 1000 tournament in Spain, which is due to commence on Tuesday, April 21 and will last until May 3.
She is also reportedly going to the Catalonia Open, also in Spain, with her participation depending on her performance in Madrid as that is scheduled to begin on April 27.
The action continues for her at the Rome Open, another WTA 1000, in Italy, which will then begin on May 5. Similar to her situation in Catalonia, her listing in the Parma Ladies Open which will happen from May 11 to 16, will also depend on how she will fare in Rome.
The athlete will then move to France for the French Open, which is set to start on May 18 and will run until June 7.
The clay court calendar of the tennis champ started pretty slow for her, as she made early exits in both the Ladies Linz Open in Austria and Stuttgart.
She is also looking to rack up more points in the upcoming competitions, as her recent dip in the WTA index had something to do with the expiration of the points she collated in the previous season in 2025.
