Kelly Clarkson confirms end of long-running daytime talk show in late 2026

This means the end of the show, which has gained international fame with its Kelly-oke segment.

In a post on her social media pages, American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson delivered the confirmation about the future of her long-running daytime talk show.

The Kelly Clarkson Show, which has been on the air on American broadcast giant NBC for seven season since September 2019, will be ending its run soon.

In her message, the first-ever winner of American Idol opened with “I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at TKCS, both in Los Angeles and New York.

There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show, and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner,” she added.

With that, she explained the reason for the show’s demise has been her personal decision, which she said will allow her to tend to her children.

Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision but this season will be my last hosting TKCS. Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives,” Clarkson furthered.

While she is not doing the chat show anymore, she assured her fans and followers that she will not be leaving showbusiness altogether.

This isn’t goodbye. I’ll still be making music, playing shows here and there, and you may catch me on The Voice from time to time…you never know where I might show up next.”

To end, she said, “But for now, I want to thank y’all so much for allowing our show to be a part of your lives, and for believing in us and hanging with us for seven incredible years.

The show’s end was first reported by Page Six last January, with staff members said to have been informed first about the impending conclusion of The Kelly Clarkson Show by the end of the current season, which will he in fall 2026.

As of the moment, Clarkson is also one of the coaches of the U.S. version of The Voice, which is also aired by NBC.
