It will return to screens later this month.
Amid its major primetime reshuffle, TV5 is tapping into its archive to fill airtime and entertain Kapatid viewers.
Later this January, the network is confirmed to be re-airing the 2023 afternoon series Nag-aapoy Na Damdamin, which stars Jane Oineza, JC De Vera, Ria Atayde, and Tony Labrusca.
Also part of this series are Joko Diaz, Myla Gumila, Nico Antonio, Kim Rodriguez, and Aya Fernandez.
At present, there is still no information when will the show exactly air and the time slot that it will occupy on the TodoMax Primetime Singko block.
The drama was one of the two joint ventures of the station with its erstwhile partner, ABS-CBN, that launched in 2023. The other was Pira-Pirasong Paraiso led by Charlie Dizon, Loisa Andalio, Alexa Ilacad, and Elisse Joson.
It is also notably a peculiar choice, given that it was the termination of the five-year-long agreement between ABS-CBN and TV5 that caused the network to have a huge programming gap on weekday primetime—which is currently filled with the temporary Cine Cinco Primetime block from 8:45 to 10:45 pm.
Moreover, it also carries with it the question of whether the networks have set aside their differences amid the evolving free TV landscape in the Philippines.
Currently, programs that once aired on TV5, such as FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Roja, and What Lies Beneath are now being broadcast on other linear platforms, like the Kapamilya Channel on ALLTV2 and cable, as well as A2Z.
Regarding the Kapatid network’s primetime block, productions that are slated to take over its weekday evening soon include the game show Wilyonaryo of Willie Revillame, drama serials A Secret In Prague, The Kingdom: Magkabilang Mundo, The Good Doctor (Philippine adaptation), and My Bespren, Emman.
