This will mark their return to the country after almost a decade.
In a poster unveiled on their social media pages on Tuesday, January 13 (Philippine time), Korean pop superstars BTS officially announced the stops for their upcoming world tour.
This tour, which is their first since all members were discharged from South Korea’s mandatory military service program, will be brought to various parts of the globe, such as North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
Included in the initial list is Manila, where the seven-member team comprising of Jin, RM, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, is set to return with a two-day show on March 13 and 14, 2026.
At present, the official venue, ticketing information, and other pertinent details have not yet been revealed.
This will mark the group’s return to the country after bringing their BTS Live Trilogy Episode III (Final Chapter): The Wings Tour in 2017 in Pasay City.
Also part of the announced stops in the region are Goyang, South Korea—where the series will kick-off with a three day show this April, Tokyo, Busan, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, and Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, more destinations in Japan, Middle East, and more in 2027 will be announced at a later date.
Meanwhile, aside from the concert tour, fans will also be looking forward to new music from the band, as they are set to issue their first album in nearly four years in March 2026.
According to BigHit Music, “The new album holds special significance as it marks the first album released by the group in three years and nine months, while also indicating the direction the group will take going forward.”
“The members were deeply involved in the creation of the songs, infusing their own thoughts and colors into them while musically expressing the emotions and struggles they have experienced along their journey,” it added.
This album will feature a total of 14 tracks and is packed with “honest stories that BTS wants to share with ARMY, who have been waiting for their comeback as a whole group.”
It will be filled with the music “that’s most true to BTS,” and will serve as their “heartfelt way of saying thank you to ARMY, who have been there this whole time,” the company elaborated.
