SEVENTEEN’s DK, Seungkwan launch new sub-unit with ‘Serenade’

On Monday, January 12, SEVENTEEN members DK and Seungkwan officially marked their debut as the new sub-unit called DxS.

Through this project, the two collaborated for their first mini-album as a pair, with the record being entitled Serenade.

Carried as the lead single is Blue, which had its seven-minute “cinema version” music video released on the same day. As of this writing, it has reached over 7.9 million views on YouTube

Also included as tracks in this extended play are Rockstar, Dream Serenade, solo songs of the two K-pop stars.

DxS is the next project for both DK and Seungkwan, as along with Hoshi, they formed the band’s first-ever sub-unit called BSS in 2018.

Earlier in 2025, BSS even had a comeback in January with their EP entitled Teleparty, which carried the track CBZ (Prime time). Prior to that, they have released singles like Just Do It and Fighting.

Aside from them, other units that have been launched are JxW (Jeonghan X Wonwoo), HxW (Hoshi and Woozi), and CxM (S.Coups and Mingyu).

Meanwhile, the two stars, along with seven of their fellow members, are scheduled to return to the country this year for their New_ concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan this March.
