‘Incognito,’ ‘It’s Okay To Not Be Okay’ among Kapamilya programs in Top 40 PH Shows in 2025

Last Sunday, January 4, Trendrod released the complete list of Top 40 Philippine TV and Streaming Programs as part of its annual Best Shows feature.

Out of the forty programs that charted and ten others that were given special citations, ABS-CBN’s Studios and News cumulatively took twenty spots.

Leading the pack was the action series Incognito, which landed this year’s number 1 spot. The series top-billed by  Richard Gutierrez, Daniel Padilla, Ian Veneracion, Baron Geisler, Kaila Estrada, Maris Racal, and Anthony Jennings, was praised for bringing the action genre onto “another level on Philippine television.”

Coming close in second place was the local adaptation of It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, which starred Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, Carlo Aquino.

Other programs that earned their spots in the Top 10 for 2025 were The Alibi (#4), Maalaala Mo Kaya (#5), Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition (#6), and What Lies Beneath (#7).

Meanwhile, other shows that were part of the said list were Saving Grace: The Untold Story (#11), Love At First Spike (#13), Roja (#16), and Sins Of The Father (#18), among many others.

Included in the Top 40 list of the independent publication were original shows produced by Filipino production companies, TV networks, or streaming services.

There respective series or season premiere dates must have taken place from January 1 to December 21, 2025, with shows that have been continuously broadcasting since 2024 or earlier, and did take any months-long season breaks, were not considered for the list.

Meanwhile, extended versions or repackaged versions of programs (e.g. a separate TV version of a show previously seen on streaming platforms) were deemed qualified.
