‘Pepito Manaloto’ star John Feir attends wrong wedding after misreading invitation

But what transpired made people laugh online.

In a post on his social media page, Pepito Manaloto star Mikoy Morales shared an anecdote from his co-star in the longest-running Kapuso sitcom, John Feir.

The actor, who portrays Patrick in the series, accidentally attended the wrong wedding after misreading the date on the invitation sent by Morales, who will soon tie the knot with his non-showbiz girlfriend.

“Kwento: Sa March pa ang kasal at ang nakalagay sa invitation ay “Please RSVP on or before Jan 3.” Eh “Jan 3” lang yung nabasa. 🥲,” wrote Mikoy in his post.

He then narrated what happened to John at the said wedding where he is not invited. “Ayun, dumating kanina. Pag dating niya lahat naka-suit, siya lang ang naka-Barong. Pina-gitna pa siya at ginandahan daw ng anggulo yung pagkuha sa kanya ng photo/video.

He continued, “Wala siyang nakilala at iba daw hitsura ng groom. Tsaka lang tumawag pa kay [Chariz Solomon] para magtanong at magkwento at ayun nga, confirmed: Na-Patrick siya in real life. 😆

Chariz Solomon is one of their fellow cast members, who plays the part of Janice, the wife of John’s Patrick.

Kaya advance thank you sa pag punta, kuya John! I-kain mo na lang yan ng hatdog! 🌭,” quipped Mikoy, who referenced the favorite food of John’s character in the series.

And in the edit of his original post, Mikoy shared that John and the groom were the only ones wearing Barong at the said wedding, with the photo uploaded by the studio behind the same-day edit video.

The post has since garnered nearly 400,000 reactions on Facebook as of this writing.
