The Pambasang Mars has spoken up about the matter.
In her recent interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda on GMA, Kapuso actress Camille Prats addressed the viral moment that she had on the morning show TikToclock last October.
On that particular episode, Prats was called on to perform a dance production number after the show’s co-host delivered their messages of sympathies for main host Kim Atienza, who had lost her daughter, Emman, that week.
“I didn’t know that kung ano ‘yung pinanggalingan ng programa, that was actually the first live show they had after what happened to Kuya Kim, so I wasn’t aware of that,” adding that she was not able to check the script beforehand.
It was only after that she became viral that same day the she knew that that particular episode was the program’s first since what happened.
After that incident, she talked to Kuya Kim in private, who assured her that all is well. Despite that, Camolle remained apologetic towards him, as per her account of the story.
Meanwhile, in his own interview with Abunda in November, Kim had already aired his side on the matter
Kuya Kim explained to Boy, “Ginawa nila sa ‘TiktoClock’ ‘yan. Namatayan ako eh. So nag-spiels muna sila at sinabi nilang ‘Kuya Kim mahal ka namin,’ Sabay pasok si Camille Prats.“
“At natawa ako. Natanggal ‘yung lungkot ko. Very effective si Camille Prats sa akin. Talagang ‘pag nakikita ko, hanggang ngayon natatawa pa rin ako. Siya na ang Pambansang Dopamine. The Dopamine of Asia,” said the TV host.
Kim Atienza and Camille Prats first hosted the morning talk show Mars Pa More, along with Iya Arellano, from 2021 until the show’s axing in 2022.
Since his return from a break, Kuya Kim’s path have once again crossed with Camille, who continued to host TikToclock.
