K-drama leading man Park Bo Gum was able to reunite with actress-singer, Lee Hyeri, whom he starred alongside in the 2015 period drama ‘Reply 1988,’ at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards.
• Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino’s ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’ hit P173-M worldwide (May 11, 2025)
ABS-CBN Studios and Star Cinema confirmed the official gross of romantic-comedy flick ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear,’ which began screenings last March.
As per the content production giant, the Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino-starrer was able to rake in Php 173 million in the global box-office, which accounts its combined ticket sales in the Philippines and abroad.
• Philippine Airlines appoints first foreign president in 84-year history (May 17, 2025)
In a statement, flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced that it has appointed Richard Nuttall, a British national and long-time figure in the airline industry, its new President effective May 29, 2025.

Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra, dubbed as ‘JMFyang,’ top-bill the original digital series titled Ghosting for the streaming platform iWant.

In a story uploaded onto his Instagram account, rising leading man and showbiz royalty Andres Muhlach expressed his birthday greeting to his leading lady, Ashtine Olviga.
• Teleradyo Serbisyo teaser sparks DZMM comeback speculations (May 21, 2025)
An intriguing teaser began airing Teleradyo Serbisyo and its AM radio station counterpart, DWPM Radyo 630. Heard in these interstitials was long-running ABS-CBN continuity announcer, Peter Musngi, saying the words: “May magbabalik. May maglilingkod.”
Adding more life to the trailer was the familiar sound used by the former radio player owned by the Kapamilya network, DZMM Radyo Patrol.
• DZMM Radyo Patrol 630, TeleRadyo return to airwaves (May 29, 2025)
In a statement released on May 29, Philippine Collective Media Corporation (PCMC), which operates the 630 kHz frequency in Mega Manila, announced that it was officially dropping the DWPM Radyo 630 brand that it has been using since June 2023.
The station will embrace its roots and will formally relaunch to the familiar callsign many have been accustomed to, DZMM Radyo Patrol 630, beginning at 8:00 pm on the same night.

On Thursday, June 19, P-pop group BGYO officially released their new song, the English-language track entitled ‘All These Ladies’.
• Maricel Soriano, Piolo Pascual topbill Cathy Garcia-Sampana’s ‘Meet, Greet, & Bye’ (June 23, 2025)
Kapamilya film studio Star Cinema has assembled an ensemble led by the Diamond Star, Maricel Soriano, and the country’s Ultimate Leading Man, Piolo Pascual for the movie ‘Meet, Greet, & Bye.’
Joining them in the project are blockbuster actor Joshua Garcia, hitmaker Juan Karlos Labajo, and the New Gen Phenomenal Star, Belle Mariano.
• EXO’s Kai, Win Metawin, and Kentaro Sakaguchi pose for photo together (June 23, 2025)
Visuals were definitely overflowing at the Prada fashion show for its 2026 Spring Summer show for its Menswear collection, which took place in Milan, Italy on Sunday, June 22.
Included in the invited guests for the show were three Asian stars, who are also among of the biggest names from their respective countries. They were Korean pop idol Kai of the boy band EXO, actors Win Metawin from Thailand, and Kentaro Sakaguchi of Japan.
