It is the moment she knew that she has “made it!”
Veteran actress and business personality Charo Santos is a certified “friend of the pod” of the trending podcast Dogshow Divas of comedians Macoy Dubs Averilla and Baus Rufo.
The FPJ’s Batang Quiapo actress recently made a collaboration with the duo, who dressed up as her as they tried to emulate Santos’ viral “prosti” spiels on the drama-anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya.
Feeling that they are not able to do it right, Macoy and Baus seek approval from none other than “Ma’am Charo” herself. Hence, the video ends with them perfecting the line a la CSC.
In the Instagram version of the post, the 70-year-old showbiz pillar wrote, “The bastion of collabs. Masasabi ko nang ‘I’ve made it’ with Macoy Dubs and Baus Rufo.”
As of this writing, the post of the shortform video has received over 640,000 views and 52,000 likes.
Aside from being constantly visible on television, Charo has embraced the digital space. In the past year, she has constantly uploaded various “POV” clips on her personal social media pages, which she used to showcase her acting range.
One of her most popular videos is the one where she portrayed the “matapobre” or the rich mother belittling the girlfriend of her son, which has spawned duets from other users including Macoy himself.
