It will bring some of the best Filipino and international films once again.
In a post on its official Facebook page on Monday, December 22, streaming platform JuanFlix: The FDCP Channel announced its major comeback after an abrupt hiatus last October.
“We had to hit pause for a while — tough but necessary. The good news? Juanflix is coming back in early 2026, better and easier to enjoy than before,” part of the said announcement read.
“We’ve heard you, we see you, and we appreciate your patience,” it told its users and added that all active subscribers will have their plans extended once the service resumes its operations.
Meanwhile, JuanFlix has since launched a form for those who would like to request for a refund.
“For those keeping their plans and taking the extension, no worries – we’ll reach out to you once we’re back,” it assured the public.
The JuanFlix app was first launched as The FDCP Channel portal of the Film Development Council of the Philippines in 2022.
Since its introduction, it has served as a platform for student filmmakers, creatives, and established filmmakers to reach a broader audience for their works. That is reflective of its mission of making “the art of film more accessible to a wider audience.”
