The hosts joined forces with some of the country’s rising P-pop acts for the production number.
On Tuesday, December 2, the week-long MagPaskoSikat 16th anniversary special presentations on It’s Showtime continued.
The program opened with yet another grand opening performance with host Darren Espanto performing SB19’s hit song Dungka!
He was then followed by a number of Filipino pop or P-pop groups who each performed their respective singles on the Showtime stage.
VXON did their song The Beast, while the newly-debuted trio DNA sang their single Don’t Ask Me Why.
KAIA then presented Tanga, followed by boy bands 1621 with Bababa, and Wrive with Ooh La La.
G22 showcased their just released somg Lakumpake and the Aces of P-pop, BGYO, performed the song All These Ladies on It’s Showtime anew.
The cherry on top, however, was the cover of hosts Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez of BINI’s viral hit song Pantropiko as the made-up group SWT16.
The staging of MagPaskoSikat replaces for this year the annual Magpasikat segment, which is a week-long competition between hosts for their respective beneficiaries every anniversary.
The cancelation of the tradition for the 16th year of the show was mainly due to financial constraints that the program is facing, as admitted by main host Vice Ganda on-air back in October 2025.
