On Monday, December 1, Korean-American rapper Jessi took to social media to share her reaction to the recent performance of actress-comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto in the reality-competition Your Face Sounds Familiar.
In the November 30 episode of the Kapamilya franchised program, Booba channeled Jessi as she did her impression of the rapper’s Zoom stage.
As expected, Quinto brought the house down with her amusing showcase, with Jessi herself also joining in the fun.
In the TikTok clip uploaded by ABS-CBN, the 36-year-old K-rap and hip-hop artist commented, “What’s going on?”, with a couple of tears of joy emojis.
She once again left the same emojis under the post of the show’s official page on Instagram.
This is not the first time that Rufa Mae’s impersonation in the program has gone viral, as her prior impressions of Vice Ganda, Miley Cyrus, and Moira dela Torre all made rounds on social media.
Meanwhile, Jessi debuted as singer in 2005 and later transitioned into one of the most-recognizable rappers in South Korea, having released, over the years, songs like Gucci, Down, Nunu Nana, and the hit song Zoom.
