On Monday, December 1, Kapamilya viewers online were greeted with a pleasing news as the ABS-CBN Entertainment channel on YouTube made its comeback.

In a post on its social media pages, ABS-CBN announced the return of the channel, noting that the web-based channel Kapamilya Online Live has also resumed streaming on its original home.

WE’RE BACK, MGA KAPAMILYA! Kapamilya Online Live is now available on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube Channel! Tune in now and enjoy your favorite shows LIVE!“, it wrote.

In spite of that, the network said that the KOL stream for today, December 1, will continue to become available on the iWant YouTube channel, where it has been played since the incident.

Alongside that, the livestream is also the ABS-CBN Facebook page and the iWant app.

Moreover, archived episodes and other videos that are seen on the ABS-CBN Entertainment channel are also once again available following this development.

The said channel, which has over 50 million subscribers, was deactivated following a hacking incident that occurred last Saturday, November 29.

This also caused other channels, such as the official pages of its programs like It’s Showtime, to become unavailable on the video-sharing platform.

Since then, temporary measures were taken to ensure continued availability of the network’s shows, such as making the Kapamilya Online Live stream and catch-up episodes available on iWant and the ABS-CBN News YouTube accounts.
