In a post on Thursday, November 27, Kapamilya actor Ronnie Alonte shocked his followers after dropping photos from his wedding with actress Loisa Andalio.
He wrote in the caption, “Zup, Mrs. Alonte,” and attached snapshots of them wearing their wedding rings and their kiss after the ceremony.
In another picture, they wore matching couple shirts that read Mr. Alonte and Mrs. Alonte, respectively.
The post instantly generated buzz on social media, earning over 100,000 likes in over an hour and reaction from fans who were stunned by the swift turn of events as it was only last Friday, November 21, when Loisa and Ronnie announced their engagement after nine years.
Congratulatory messages have since poured in from their supporters and fellow celebrities, with the likes of Bianca Gonzalez, Enchong Dee, Donny Pangilinan, EA Guzman, Charlie Dizon, Elisse Joson, Alexa Ilacad, Chie Filomeno, DJ Chacha, Axel Torres, Wilbert Ross, and Luke Conde, among many others commenting on the said post.
Loisa and Ronnie began dating in 2016 and publicly confirmed their relationship two years later.
They went on to star together in multiple projects under the love team called LoiNie, including episodes of Wansapanataym, The General’s Daughter, Love In 40 Days, and Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.
