Furthering his news and public affairs experience.
In separate contract signing events this week, actor-entrepreneur Matteo Guidicelli joined two of the leading news groups in the country today.
On Monday, October 13, he signed a deal with the free-to-air Bilyonaryo News Channel (BNC), which he said was an outlet that he started following during the pandemic.
He also shared his enthusiasm about finally becoming part of the team and the work cut out for him as a member of the BNC squad.
“During the pandemic time, I was already watching Bilyonaryo online… And I’ve always wanted to be here, to take part here, and here we are! So I’m excited of what’s to come and what I’ll be doing with Bilyonaryo.“
Guidicelli is set to join the powerhouse team of the flagship newscast ‘Agenda,’ fronted by Korina Sanchez-Roxas, Pinky Webb, and Willard Cheng.
He will be presenting every Mondays and Wednesdays beginning October 27.
Meanwhile, earlier on Wednesday, October 15, he signed another contract. This time, he forged a partnership with MQuest Ventures, Cignal TV, and the pay TV channel One News.
According to a report on ‘Frontline Pilipinas,’ Guidicelli will be doing documentaries for the Kapatid platforms starting next year, although exact details about his work with the group are still kept under wraps.
Prior to his contract signing with both BNC and MQuest Ventures, Matteo was seen on GMA through the Kapuso network’s Public Affairs division.
After signing back in 2023, he was seen in the morning show ‘Unang Hirit’ and the primetime action series ‘Black Rider.’ Earlier this year, his documentary ‘Philippine Defenders’ aired as his last project with the station.
Aside from his on-cam work, the 35-year-old is also actively managing his ventures with his wife, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo. Their businesses include G Productions and the recently-launched G Music label.
