Becoming the latest members to revisit the country.
On Saturday, October 11, Korean pop musicians MJ and Jinjin of the band ASTRO are in Manila to be with Pinoy AROHAs for the first time in years.
The duo, who debuted as the sun-unit Zoonizini last August, are staging their ‘Roll The Dice’ fanparty at the UP Theater in Diliman, Quezon City.
This show marks MJ and Jinjin’s return to Manila after nine years and will also follow the recent fan-con of their fellow member, Yoon Sanha, who brought his solo ‘Prism: From Y To A’ tour to the country last August 24.
Zoonizini is the third sub-unit project of ASTRO and is joined in the list by the Moonbin&Sanha unit that was launched back in September 2020 and Jinjin&Rocky in January 2022.
Earlier this August, they released their first mini-album entitled ‘Dice,’ which carries the lead hip-hop track ‘Some Things Never Change.’
Aside from the song, also part of the mini-album are ‘New World,’ ‘Utopia,’ ‘Favorite Memory,’ ‘Starlight Voyage,’ and ‘Restart.’
Meanwhile, MJ was also the first member to make his solo music debut, releasing the trot song ‘Get Set Yo’ in November 2021.
ASTRO is known for their earlier songs like ‘Hide & Seek,’ ‘Breathless,’ ‘Confession,’ ‘Baby,’ ‘Crazy, Sexy, Cool,’ and ‘Always.’
Amid rising popularity, the group got their first music show win via ‘All Night’ in 2019, with songs like ‘Blue Flame,’ ‘Knock,’ ‘ONE,’ ‘After Midnight,’ and ‘Candy Sugar Pop’ all coming right after that.
