The media giants could soon be gearing up for another tie-up.
On Monday, September 15, ABS-CBN Studios and GMA Network simultaneously released through their own pages new teasers that look similar to one another.
“We are welcoming you… Tuloy po kayo,” with the date of September 18 attached in the caption of the Kapuso station’s post.
Meanwhile, the Kapamilya network shared a photo of a door with the number 88, with its own caption also showcasing the same date, but wrote in the caption, “Lalabas na ang sikretong malupit.”
These teaser posters have since fueled the speculations about another major project between the two Philippine media giants.
Some netizens thought of it as a possible series between ABS-CBN and GMA, with others going as far as pondering on the idea of this being a program of the ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ alums.
Speaking of which, a few also looked back on the earlier pronouncements regarding the next ‘Collab’ edition that will happen this year, and suspected that these might be referring to that.
At present, both networks have yet to reveal the truth behind these teasers.
In the past few years, ABS-CBN and GMA have already partnered with each other multiple times. They first joined forces in 2023 for ‘Unbreak My Heart,’ which was followed by the GTV (and eventually, GMA) broadcast of ‘It’s Showtime,’ as well as the billion-peso movie ‘Hello, Love, Again’ in November 2024.
Their most recent partnership for ‘PBB Collab’ marked their first for the Philippines’ longest-running reality show, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this 2025.
