All is well for his client, who will be the subject of the comedian’s next sketch.
In an interview on Wednesday, September 10, Atty. Cornelio Samaniego III, legal counsel of the controversial Discaya couple, said that female contractor did not make any violent reactions upon knowing that she will be parodied on TV.
Specifically, Comedy Genius Michael V will portray the fictionalized version of her for the upcoming episode of GMA’s comedy show ‘Bubble Gang’ on Sunday, September 14.
Samaniego said, “Hindi po. Okay lang sa kanya. Alam mo naman si Sir Bitoy, talaga namang idol ko nga ‘yan.”
He continued, “Nirerespeto natin si Michael V., idol natin iyan sa Bubble Gang. Trabaho niya ‘yan, Parang ako, abogado, trabaho ko ito. Si Sir Michael, trabaho niya yun. Doon siya kilala. So, bakit tayo magagalit?”
In the recent teasers uploaded by the program, Bitoy is seen sporting a similar look to the one Sarah wore during her first appearance before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee last September 1.
The comedian even posed for photo with an umbrella on his hand, a reference to the viral clip from Julius Babao’s interview with the couple, where Mrs. Discaya revealed that she bought a luxury car because of the umbrella included in the car itself—which she does not use anyway.
