She proudly declared her being a “Kapamilya Forever.”
On Monday, August 18, new gen actress-singer Belle Mariano was given a grand program as she reaffirmed her commitment to her mother studio, ABS-CBN, and its talent management group, Star Magic.
Present at the ‘Born To Shine: Belle Mariano, KapamILYa Forever’ contract signing event were the company’s executives, led by its Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, Head of Entertainment and Star Magic Laurenti Dyogi, CFO Rick Tan, along with Belle’s manager Edith Fariñas.
During the event, a pre-recorded clip was aired containing her own retrospective of her career so far, as well as messages from her loved ones and fellow artists, such as directors Cathy Garcia-Molina, Mae Cruz-Alviar, Piolo Pascual, and her on-screen partner Donny Pangilinan.
In her message to other aspiring talents, Belle turned emotional as she told, “It’s not gonna be an easy journey. There will be times that you fall and you fail… But, just believe in yourself.“
She then recalled the hardships that she had faced in the past 14 years of her career, where she began as a child star portraying the younger counterparts of established actresses to becoming one of the bankable stars of the network today.
“Nakakataba ng puso kasi I was surrounded with amazing, amazing people. And I’m just so grateful for them, of course,” she said before thanking her family, the ABS-CBN management, and other people important to her.
Belle is currently in the middle of filming the upcoming Star Cinema movie ‘Meet, Greet & Bye,’ which will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and will star the powerhouse ensemble Maricel Soriano, Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, and JK Labajo.
Meanwhile, she is also confirmed to be having a new album and birthday concert under the Kapamilya music label Starpop.
For DonBelle fans, Belle shared that a reunion project with Donny is in the horizon, telling ABS-CBN News, “This time, we want it to be different… na once we both reunite again, we want it to be different from what we’ve previously done.“
