What a way to start the group’s anniversary month.
In a post on her personal Instagram account, Korean-American singer Tiffany Young shared highlights from her birthday celebration.
The K-pop star, who turns 35 on Friday, August 1, was reunited with her fellow Girls’ Generation members: Taeyeon, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun.
All eight of them were seen in the photos that Tiffany uploaded online, which she simply captioned “yay, it’s August!“
As of writing, it has already garnered over 480,000 likes and was flooded with well wishes from SONEs.
The reunion also comes days before the iconic second generation K-pop group’s 18th anniversary on August 5.
Girls’ Generation, also known as SNSD (a shorthand of their Korean name Sonyeoshidae), debuted in 2007 under SM Entertainment.
Through the years, they gained immense popularity in their domestic market, as well as overseas, for their hit singles ‘Into The New World,’ ‘Gee,’ ‘The Boys,’ ‘I Gotta Boy,’ ‘Mr. Mr.,’ ‘Lion Heart,’ ‘Party,’ and ‘Holiday’.
The group had their most recent reunion in August 2022 for their 15th anniversary that same year and dropped the album ‘Forever 1,’ which carries the title track of the same name.
Meanwhile, Tiffany recently held her ‘Here For You’ fan meeting in the Philippines last July 27, which marked her return to the country after over five years.
